Blues from a keyboard
i know, i know, this entry’s title isn’t nearly as striking, nor as compelling, nor as inspired as the original that inspired me to steal from it [hint; it’s the title of a song by a phenomenal scottish rock band.] be that as it may, my hackish attempt seems to fit my mood, so i’m gonna let it ride.
another great track title by the oh-so-great brothers from scotland is “everything’s all right when you’re down.” this is where they really seem to capture a big part of me with; “now i’ve hit the ground | and just look at what I found | everything’s alright when you’re down, hey hey || strange as it can seem | like livin’ in a scream | everything’s alright when you’re down, hey hey” that, to me, is such an amazing combination of words, emotions, and situational despair! that’s just the type of perfection that isn’t hit upon nearly often enough, if at all.
enough of my review of the great jesus and mary chain though. i could go on an on an on with snippets like that where they have just hit the mark perfectly but what good is that? go listen to them yourself! you’ll surely grow to see just what i mean and, if you don’t, then let my opinion of you be stated as “hopeless.” yeah they do rock.
on to the more woe-is-me part of this pathetic little blog posting…
all right. after sitting here typing and re-typing and deleting and command+z-ing and fretting and whatnot for what seems like two centuries, i’ve decided that i can’t really properly express what i want to express in a way that i want to express it, so screw it. you’re welcome. i’ll leave the jesus and mary chain bit though. if just because i don’t want all of this time to feel completely wasted with nothing to show. that’s reason enough, right?. maybe i’ll bore you some other time with my the aches of my life, but you’ve been spared this time! let’s hope it never actually comes to that though.
here’s one last link. something far more worthy of perusal that this pitiful collection of ones-and-zeros scratch: 3 minute philosophy - aristotle
