Clicky - can you find it?
I’ll start with the call for help!
Clicky Game - Can you click the sweet spot in the image? You have 20 clicks to find it. There is no feedback given until [a] you click the right spot :) or [b] you have clicked 20x without hitting the right spot. :( Oh, to give you a clue, mapped 76 click elements into the image, so that give you a 5 in 19 chance [nearly 1/4] of hitting the sweet spot! Not bad odds really.
Oh, and I’d love for you to tweet you result at me @thinbegin too!
Now for the background, for those that are interested:
I have this UserFly account that is pretty nifty. Go there to read about what it does in detail, but the idea is that some javascript will record the user’s [navigation] experience. That way one can review their website design and see what works best [marketing stuff].
I am not a marketer. I am not trying to find the perfect button shape, color, size, etc. I’m just a software engineer that is curious about a service that he was curious about. I can [and have] tested this UserFly functionality out myself, but I just didn’t get the cool warm fuzzies watching a video of what I had just done, so I am asking the world out there to give me those cool warm fuzzies.
Don’t worry, I’m not trying to capture anything weird, I haven’t encoded anything strange or off-putting. I’m not even capturing any data of any kind! Of course, UserFly is recording the mouse movement and clicks, but that is all. No creep-ware here folks.
